Opportunity Information:

  • Create provider profile in credentialing software
  • Keep credentialing software up to date with new information as received
  • Prefill provider paperwork based on information from credentialing software
  • Utilize Adobe Sign/PDF to send and request documents
  • Determine credentialing meeting dates and anticipated start dates for providers
  • Track expiring provider certifications
  • Maintain Excel spreadsheets tracking various provider information
  • Communicate with healthcare professionals on a regular basis in person as well as via email, phone, text, and fax
  • Acquire necessary information on behalf of providers for credentialing files
  • Review hospital certification requirements and work with hospital employees to keep up to date on course dates that the facility offers
  • Provide course information and send to providers as needed
  • Update provider files with current certifications
  • Send billing packet to billing company
  • Assist billing company with missing information, insurance enrollment, and revalidation paperwork as needed
  • Provide billing company with provider CAQH account information
  • Maintain and update CAQH spreadsheets
  • Oversee credentialing files at certain client facilities
  • Request and prefill provider online applications
  • Maintain healthy relationships with client credentialing coordinators
  • Obtain credentialing meeting dates from client facilities
  • Attend team meetings as required
  • All other duties as assigned

Position Requirements:

  • High School Diploma (or equivalent)
  • At least 2 years of experience in a professional office setting required
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (specifically Word and Excel)
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent record keeping skills
  • Customer service and data entry experience preferred
  • Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Aptitude for forward and creative thinking
